A Message from Alice Cadfan-Lewis as Doyenne Turns 10

July marks Doyenne’s 10th birthday, which feels like the right moment to share that I will be stepping down from my active role.

“Stronger together” is something I have always believed in deeply, and it is one of the reasons this decision has been so difficult. When you have spent years building something rooted in community, it is hard to step back from the people, relationships and shared purpose that have meant so much.

I have laughed, struggled, celebrated and cried with many of you, and I will always be grateful for those moments we have shared together.

Co-creating Doyenne and watching it grow over the last decade has been one of the greatest joys. It has been a privilege to build it alongside Samantha, our ambassadors, and the wider community, all of whom have played such an important part in shaping it into what it is today.

Doyenne has always been about community, connection, support, and creating space for women in our industry to be seen, heard and celebrated. It has also been about recognising the importance of allies, collaboration and collective progress.

I hope that message continues to grow, because women are integral to the success of every industry, and they deserve to know it.

Stepping away is only made possible because Doyenne is in such safe hands. Samantha

will continue to drive it forward with the support of our wonderful ambassadors.

I will always be incredibly grateful for, and proud of, everything we have created together.
