I have always been about giving feedback and support to those around me at any level I have held within my career. Naturally gravitating towards mentoring, which throughout the last 4 years especially I have had the privilege to train, mentor and support various property managers into the industry. Most of those being women new to the sector.

 

I believe continuous support, encouragement to be your own authentic self and being given the tools by management teams to thrive are key in the property sector for women.

 

One of my focuses is providing safe and inclusive spaces for those around me in an ever changing and extremely fast paced such as property to ensure all are provided the same stepping stones than others.

 

Why do I feel Doyenne is important?

Everything Doyenne advocates for and provides is so important, to me and to so many women who have felt unseen for so long within the property sector. It was 10 years ago, and it continues to be so today.

 

Prior to Doyenne, women were few within the property sector outside administration roles and now we see so many fantastic women across various levels within companies up to CEOs.

 

However, this doesn’t mean there still isn’t concerns or issues that need to be addressed, tackled and talked about amongst us all. Doyenne does this in a space, meaningful and impactful way!

 

Why am I getting involved?

I have a passion for everything Doyenne is, providing any support to the amazing work already put in from the women who have built Doyenne and those who also support is not an opportunity I was willing to ignore.

 

Whether its learning from all the fantastic women and allies around me to providing a helping hand to others to thrive and not just survive.
