Alice has worked in the property sector for over 27 years as a specialist recruiter. In 2014, she founded Block Recruit Group, a recruitment company supporting property businesses across the UK with the appointment of block management professionals. Over the years, Alice has built a strong and trusted reputation within the industry, developing a wide network of professional relationships and a deep understanding of the people, businesses and challenges within the sector.
Alongside her work in recruitment, Alice has retrained in health and wellness, with a particular focus on Ayurveda, therapeutic bodywork, mindfulness, meditation, Reiki and holistic wellbeing. She is the founder of VEYA, a wellness practice rooted in natural healthcare, conscious living and personalised therapeutic support.
Through VEYA, Alice supports people to reconnect with themselves, restore balance and improve their physical, emotional and energetic wellbeing.
Having spent many years working closely with women across the leasehold sector, Alice became increasingly aware of the lack of female business owners and senior leaders within the industry. Through conversations with other women, she recognised that one of the greatest barriers was often self-belief.
Alice became a founding member of Doyenne to help create a supportive platform for women in the sector — one that encourages connection, confidence and personal growth. Her work now bridges professional empowerment and personal wellbeing, reflecting her belief that women thrive when they feel supported, valued and able to recognise their own potential.
